We are humble enough to know that there is always a better way, but we have also looked at and tried many processes that had shortcomings. We can use our experience to help with your unusual problems or to be the unbiased third party that helps bring two sides together. We have experience doing inventory audits where we use either your scoring system or one we have developed. The forester being inventoried gets a score and either passes or fails and he gets feedback on shortcomings.

Most large timberland owners have a database that contains information on stands they own. Building such a database requires inventory, updating inventory and therefore growth and yield systems. Smarter Forestry has had success evaluating the information system and processes of large organizations and providing helpful suggestions to improve the system.
